Turning National Recognition Into Local Support
Being named a judge-selected runner-up out of hundreds of entries is an incredible milestone for our team. While the award provided fantastic national platform validation, our main goal has always been simple: turning that recognition into practical help where it matters most.Building on our work with Dementia Jersey—where hundreds of codes were made available to support families—we want to expand this direct community impact.
How the Community Support Programme Works
When someone living with dementia goes out, a simple trip can sometimes bring real worry for families and carers. If a person becomes confused or cannot explain who to contact, having critical medical information close at hand makes a difficult situation much easier to manage.To help address this, we are inviting local charities, dementia cafés, carers' groups, and community services to claim up to 50 free MiCodes each.
No ongoing costs: Every donated code includes a free lifetime subscription.
No app required: MiCodes can be worn or carried easily on a keyring, wallet card, or sticker.
Complete control: Users choose what details to share—including medical conditions, allergies, and emergency contacts—all protected by optional PIN security.
Get Involved
